Yo Voy!

I used to sit in class and write, "I'd rather be's" over and over again: I'd rather be swimming in tropical waters with beautiful fish and beautiful people; I'd rather be sleeping in a log cabin; I'd rather be giving birth to my first child; I'd rather be.....the locations and situations in my fantasies would differ depending on my mood, but they always saved me from the present.

Thanks to generous family and wonderful friends, "rather be's" are no longer a part of my daily routine. I will be leaving my job, my apartment, and my current reality on October 10th to explore Central America for 5 months. As I piece together my itinerary I realize: "I'm going to be."
